How to Remove an Account From Gmail Sign in

How can I remove an old Gmail account from my Gmail login screen.
4
When I am logging into my Gmail account the default account is my old work account. I do not have access to that old work account. I cannot delete it as I cannot log into the account. I have talked to the employer and they feel that they have disassociated the account from me. I do not wish to delete the account... just simply remove the account from my drop down. I have contact Google Support and they were not able to help me.
I have gone into my registry and removed any reference to that account but it didn't help.
Any ideas? Thanks

The older version did show it right at the time of signing in from any account. The new one is little trickier.
Step1. sign in from any account first.
Step2. Click on the avatar (circle thing on the right uppermost corner of the screen with initials of your name, used for signing out of switching account)
Step3. Click on the 'sign out from all accounts'
Step4 Now when u try to sign in, option for remove an account will appear
Enjoy
