How are ratings calculated?

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don't use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.

I was getting a P0441 code in my 2003 Land Rover Discovery 2 and decided to replace the purge valve. It resolved the issue and I was able to pass a CA smog check. This part costs much less than the Bosch part, which is made in Germany. I'm not sure how well this part will hold up - the Bosch lasted over 15 years- and I don't see how these parts could be exactly identical if they're made in different countries. I believe this one is made in Asia, although it doesn't say on the part (unless I missed it - I wasn't really looking, just noticed it on the original Bosch part). I hope the part is reliable. I'll update if it starts failing or throwing codes. So far, so good - but it's only been a week.

Yes. This will replace the purge valve of Disco 2. It IS identical part. Took entire 10 mins from gathering tools to clearing the code.

Hope the picture helps. Remember to make sure you know which direction the original one was oriented.

Replaced old valve that was throwing "EVAP" fault codes, a classic problem with older Hyundai's it seems. New part fit snugly in the holder, and the vehicle runs like new without "Check Engine" lighting in over a week. Shipping was amazingly fast, and part was very well labeled. Overall, very impressed!

The family Hyundai SANTA Fe had the classic "no start/ hard start after refueling" issue, and some quick google-fu indicated that this valve was the most likely culprit. Valve took all of 10 minutes to install, with getting the sockets out and cleaning up - pretty much plug and play. We've refueled 5-6 times since replacing the valve, and the starting issue is gone!

Perfect substitute for my 2004 Discovery II's original. Easy install and full compatibility and functionality at a fraction of the land rover part cost.

Arrived in mfg original labled bag. With online Y..T... help from others, was easy to locate the defective unit and swap with this new unit. Vehicle works fine, even after refueling twice. I have not had a restart problem after refueling since installing the new purge control valve.

Part also fits Land Rover Discovery 1999-2004. Cleared my code and much cheaper than buying from Land Rover. I'd recommend getting the genuine Hyudai part, bought a no name brand and it lasted maybe a year.
